Richard and Lindsey Proposal Story

Rich – I decided to propose when Lindsey and I were on a skiing holiday in Victoria. I was planning to drop on one knee when we got to the top of the mountain and I had the ring securely stored in my backpack. My heart was beating hard with anticipation as we got further up the mountain on the chairlift, but that turned to panic when my bag got stuck on the chairlift when we got off. I demanded that they stopped the lift immediately! Lindsey didn’t know what all the fuss about, but she was completely blown away when I dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry me. Thankfully, she said a resounding “YES!”.
